Over the past few months, our Wizards families have shown what being part of a lacrosse community is truly all about.
From bottle drives and greenhouse gift card sales to donut fundraisers, bingo shifts, casino volunteers, door knocking, collecting empties, sorting orders, driving players, and volunteering countless hours behind the scenes — it all adds up. And none of it happens without the incredible support of our parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, and extended families.
Fundraising and volunteer commitments can sometimes feel like “just another thing” added to already busy schedules, but the impact they have on our teams is enormous. These efforts help create opportunities for our players to participate in tournaments, celebrate together at year-end events, build lasting friendships, and enjoy memorable experiences throughout the season.
Thank you.
Our bingo and casino volunteers deserve a special thank you as well. These events require long hours, flexibility, and a major commitment of time, and they play a huge role in supporting our association and keeping lacrosse accessible for families. Your willingness to step up and help behind the scenes does not go unnoticed.
What makes the Wizards community special is that everyone contributes where they can. Whether you sold gift cards, donated bottles, worked a bingo, volunteered at the casino, picked up extra shifts, shared social media posts, transported equipment, or simply supported another family along the way — your contribution matters.
Thank you.
Behind every successful season is a village of volunteers and supporters making it happen.
Most importantly, our players notice it. They see the teamwork, the encouragement, the effort, and the pride that surrounds this club. Those moments help shape not only their lacrosse experience, but also the values they carry with them as teammates and community members.
Thank you.
To every family who has supported fundraising and volunteer efforts this season: thank you.
Thank you for your time, your energy, your generosity, and your commitment to making the Wizards experience so special for all of our athletes.
