Team Photo Day on Sunday

Hi Wizards Families,

Team Photo Day is coming up this Sunday, April 19th 📸🥍 and we want to make sure it’s a smooth (and maybe even fun!) experience for everyone.

The Wizards Lacrosse Club is booked at MVP Studio (16678 114 Ave) in Edmonton. The schedule will be as follows:

• U7 - Arrive at 8:45am, photos are at 9:00am.
• U9 - Arrive at 9:05am, photos are at 9:20am.
• U11 - Arrive at 9:25am, photos are at 9:40am.
• U15 - Arrive at 9:45am, photos are at 10:00am.
• U17W - Arrive at 10:05am, photos are at 10:20am.

Here’s everything you need to know to be ready:

📅 Before You Enter MVP

• Know your team’s photo time. If you are very early, best to wait outside in cars.
• Change your shoes! Winter boots are nice and all, but not as nice as sneakers.
• Walk in dressed in full gear: Wizards branded shorts, shoulder pads, gloves, shoes and stick. No helmets.

💡 There’s no changerooms and very little space to completely gear up on-site, so arriving ready to go makes a huge difference.

🚨 Jersey Parents

Please connect with your Team Manager and/or Head Coach regarding which jersey color is needed for photos.

💡 We recommend deciding color ahead of Sunday.

😄 Picture-Perfect Player Tips

• Jerseys will be handed out in the lobby. Parents, please return them after your photos are taken. DO NOT take them home.
• Quick hair check after jerseys go on
• Wipe down sticks if needed
• Bring that game-day energy (yes, smiles are encouraged 😉)

🏆 Coach & Manager Attire Expectations

All coaches and team managers are expected to dress in Wizards apparel for consistency and a professional club appearance in team photos. Approved apparel includes:

• Wizards t-shirt or polo
• Wizards pull-over
• Wizards hoodie
• Wizards hats are permitted and may be worn for photos if desired.

👉 If you do not own any Wizards apparel yet, please contact the Merchandising Director to make arrangements.

💡 We recommend chatting with your fellow coaches ahead of Sunday.

📸 Ordering Photos + Products

MVP offers a great selection of merchandise to commemorate your player. Check out their selection here to see the products they offer. (Personally, we're big fans of the Trader Cards and Fridge Magnets!)

**NOTE: All Wizards players receive one Player Mount FREE of charge as part of their registration. Select this item during order checkout, or you will not receive it.**

Early Bird Pricing is available for 7 days after photo day. This means that pricing will be discounted for one week after picture day, then the pricing will increase. Orders will be delivered to your Team Manager for distribution to families.

IMPORTANT: Orders placed after Early-bird cut-off will require studio pickup or shipping. Shipping prices will be available in your cart upon order checkout. 

👉 Uh oh... You Missed Photo Day?

If you can’t make it Sunday:

• You'll need to get in touch with your designated Jersey Parent to get a jersey.
• You’ll need to book an appointment at the studio (Mon-Fri, 1-5pm)
• There is a $5 non-refundable fee

💡 To be included in the team photo that everyone receives (Player Mount), appointments must be booked within 7 days.

🧙 Final Tip

Team Photo Day can feel a bit busy, but don’t stress. Show up early, come prepared, and we’ll take care of the rest.
