If you have not heard about Sixes yet, it is a fast, high-tempo version of lacrosse played on a smaller field with smaller rosters.
There are no weekly practices. The program is focused on playing games.
Players can expect:
• Smaller rosters and more playing time
• More touches and opportunities with the ball
• Fast transitions and lots of offence
• Four weeks of league games
• Regional playoffs
• A season-ending Alberta Sixes tournament
Competition groups are being organized around:
• U11/U13
• U15/U17
• Junior/Senior Open
Female participation is also being expanded as registration numbers continue to grow, including dedicated female competition where numbers support it and additional female competition planned for the season-ending tournament.

We wanted to send this directly to our membership because we do not want any player to miss the opportunity simply because they did not receive the original provincial communications.
If your player wants more lacrosse this fall, Sixes is a great opportunity to get back on the field.
