Each family is asked to provide one volunteer commitment per player to a maximum of two (2) per family. Volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to Casinos, the Wizards Pub Night and Silent Auction and assisting at tournaments. The full list of opportunities are listed with the online registration.
If you are unable to, or choose not to volunteer, you may choose to either pay a $150 non-volunteer fee per player, to a maximum of two (2) per family, or make a minimum $150 donation per player to
KidSport On the KidSport
online donation form, please indicate that you would like the donation to go towards the KidSport Alberta Fund and in the Comment section, please indicate that you are with the North Edmonton Wizards Lacrosse Club so that your donation can be directed to assist Wizards families.
Payments for registration can be made by cash, cheque, VISA or Mastercard
Registration for the season will be open until mid-March. After the cut-off date, registrations will be accepted in Divisions which still require players. There will be a $25 administration fee added to the regular registration fee.
Families are asked to volunteer for one (1) commitment per player (to a maximum of 2 commitments for each family) in each season. You will choose your volunteer opportunities when you register your player. Those families that are unable to participate in volunteering for the Club can choose to pay a $150 fee in lieu of volunteering.
Each family will write the Club a $150, post-dated cheque for each players, to a maximum of two (2) per family which may be cashed if their volunteer commitment(s) is/are not fulfilled.
Goalies are requested to pay a $75 Cleaning Deposit which will be refunded if the equipment is returned to the club at the end of the season after being cleaned.
Registrations will be considered complete when the player is registered using the RAMP system, payment is made for the registration fees and the $150 post-dated cheque(s) or payment of the $150 non-volunteer fee(s) is/are received (or confirmation of a donation to KidSport is received - confirmation of donation is the account holder's responsibility).
If registration is not complete by April 1st for those players registered on or before March 15th, the player will not be able to participate in any Lacrosse Activities until all registration is complete, unless alternate arrangments have been made.
If registration is not complete by May 1st for those players registered after March 15th, the player will not be able to participate in any Lacrosse Activities for the 2010 season, unless alternate arrangments have been made.
All players registered as Mini-Tyke thru to Midget will not be able to continue to participate in any Lacrosse activities with the North Edmonton Wizards if registration is not complete by May 1, 2010, unless alternate arragements are made.
